City of Yorba Linda
City of Yorba Linda
Yorba Linda is primarily a residential community of nearly 68,000 residents that retains much of its original character.
Perhaps the most famous resident was Richard M. Nixon, the 37th president of the United States. Born and raised in Yorba Linda, the city is the site of the Nixon Presidential Library & Museum. Visitors to the library enjoy a glimpse into the vents, people, and things that made up the world during the life of Richard Nixon.
Yorba Linda enjoys a reputation as a wonderful community in which to live for a number of reasons. Among these are the nearly 100 miles of equestrian, biking and walking trails throughout the city. A commitment to equestrian activities helps set Yorba Linda apart from the other communities, as does the quality and quantity of the public landscaping along our streets and right of ways.
Outstanding recreational activities are provided at our municipal parks, Community Center, Thomas Lasorda Jr. Field House, three equestrian arenas and Travis Ranch Activity Center. The city-owned Black Gold Golf Club has consistently been selected as one of the best municipal courses in Southern California. There’s also easy access to the unspoiled wilderness of the adjacent Chino Hills State Park.
